On the Bluffs of Cane Creek

My debut novel. Adaline Kelly was 14 years old when the covered wagon she was riding in turned over in a prairie near Poplar Bluff, Missouri, killing everyone but her. Scared and alone, she was soon taken in by an Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians that were being forcibly removed from their homes. She joined them on the Trail of Tears and shares her story of love and loss as she makes her way back to the bluffs of Cane Creek.
